All Downloads
21 builds, one file each. No installer, no runtime, nothing to uninstall — the dictionary and the inflection index are compiled in. Download it, make it executable if your system asks, run it.
Version 0.1.0. Sizes are uncompressed; the download itself is compressed in transit.

Not sure? Windows 64-bit and Linux 64-bit cover almost every desktop made in the last decade. Mac from 2020 or later: Apple silicon. The Linux builds are static musl and don't care which distribution you run them on.
Every other build
The same program on 15 more platforms. Same pipeline, same key, same whole dictionary inside each file.
What has actually been run: every Linux build here is emulated before release — the test suite executes on that architecture and the binary is started and quit. That includes the two big-endian ones, which would break first, since every format the dictionary uses is little-endian on disk. The Windows, macOS, FreeBSD, illumos and Android builds are compiled and signed but unrun. If one of them doesn't work, I'd genuinely like to know.

Verifying
Every binary here is signed with minisign; the .minisig beside it
is the signature, and it verifies against
minisign.pub (—). How, and why it is worth
the minute, is on the verification page.
One thing that belongs here rather than there: don't take that key from this page alone. A signature proves the file matches the key, not that the key is mine. The same key is on siilikuin.com, on different infrastructure, and inside the program itself (Ctrl-L). Compare two.
Checksums
SHA-256, as sha256sum -c wants it. Save as SHA256SUMS
beside your download and run sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS.

Read out of each signature's trusted comment, so they are covered by the signature. A checksum on the same page as the download catches a corrupted transfer, not anyone who could edit the page — the signature is the part that does that.
The browser version
Nothing to download: taskusanakirja.com is the whole program, running locally in your browser. About 14 MB once, then offline. Not signed — your browser fetches and runs it in one step, so a signature would be decoration.
Source code
Free to use, but not free software: the source is not distributed and the binaries may not be redistributed or modified. See the license, and data sources for the dictionary's own terms, which are not proprietary.
